If you’re visiting us or are part of our community, here’s some helpful information to make for a smooth ride.
The Smales Farm Bus Station forms part of the Northern Express route and provides passengers with fast and efficient connections via the Northern Busway stations and Britomart.
To plan your bus journey visit AT Journey Planner. For real time bus information and the ability to track your bus download the AT Metro ‘Track My Bus’ app AT mobile services.
Some tenants have parking available specifically for visitors. Please contact the company you are visiting directly for details. There is a combination of Free P10, P20, P60 and P90 options onsite, but should you require longer there is paid Pay and Display options available as well. All Visitor parking is designed for short to medium-term visits.
All Day Pay and Display is available for staff working at Smales Farm in selected areas.
All Parking is charged Monday — Friday between 8.00 a.m. — 5.00 p.m. Pay and display payments can only be made by coins (Please note our machines do not take notes or Credit Card currently) or by using the ParkMate App. Downloading/Registration for this service must be completed prior to using the service.

Having an issue with the parking meters? If so, please contact Smales Farm on (09) 488 2300 (during business hours) with the machine number and location.
As with other parts of Smales Farm, to ensure all customers and visitors are able to park when on site, we have Parking Enforcement Services keeping an eye out (and sometimes issuing infringement notices) to make sure that vehicles adhere to the parking conditions.
Smales Farm is private property and not a park and ride facility for the Busway.
There are a number of dedicated scooter and motorcycle parks for employees and visitors to our site, these are available free-of-charge.
Auckland Transport’s ‘Let’s Carpool’ website offers a simple and flexible matching tool that enables staff at Smales Farm to ride-share with each other for the journey to and from work.
Smales Farm has a number of end of trip facilities available including cycle lockers, showers, and bike racks.
Smales Farm is home to Auckland’s first E-moped fleet “Kwikli”, offering a cheaper, cleaner & innovative solution for mobility in urban areas. New Zealand owned & operated, Kwikli is designed to save you time, money and the environment with zero emission scooters.
